We will be more than happy to answer any and all questions that you may have regarding your safety on the river or to demonstrate paddling techniques. Personal Flotation Devices (PFD) of proper size will be issued to all participants, and should be worn at all times. Children 10 and under as well as non-swimmers must wear their PFD at all times. Take time to read our tips for your day on the river.
The Whitewater River is constantly changing. At times the river flows gently through shallow pools; at other times the river rushes through deep channels with swift currents. Obstacles in river currents such as fallen trees and bridge piers can be extremely hazardous and must be avoided at all times. No lifeguard(s) are stationed along these self-guided routes, and emergency medical services may be difficult to access. Participants should be aware of these facts and schedule their outing according to weather and river conditions best suited to their abilities. Call ahead for river conditions.
